Project Role: Data Engineer

Project Role Description: We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. This role involves creating efficient data pipelines, ensuring high data quality, and implementing ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes for seamless data migration and deployment across various systems. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the field and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Collaborate with and manage a team to execute project tasks.
• Make critical team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decision-making processes.
• Provide solutions to immediate team challenges and across multiple teams.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth in data engineering.
• Continuously evaluate and improve data processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Experience with data pipeline development and management.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and best practices.
• Experience working with cloud-based data solutions.

Additional Information:

• Minimum of 7.5 years of overall experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform is required.
• Educational Qualification: 15 years of full-time education is mandatory.
• This position is based in our Bhubaneswar office.
