Snowflake Sr. Data Engineer - Accenture - Bengaluru
Accenture is seeking a talented Snowflake Sr. Data Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. As a key member of our data engineering practice, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions that power our clients' analytics and reporting needs.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance Snowflake data pipelines across multiple projects and teams. You will collaborate closely with Team Leads to ensure architectural alignment and contribute to the Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives, including Proofs of Concepts (POCs) and accelerators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance Snowflake pipelines.
- Implement ETL/ELT processes for processing semi-structured and structured data.
- Ensure data quality and maintain security best practices throughout the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project leads to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Leverage advanced Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Stored Procedures for efficient data management and processing.
- Contribute to CoE initiatives, including the execution of POCs and accelerators.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Snowflake and Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- SnowPro Core Certification is mandatory.
- Solid experience in Data Engineering principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with dbt (data build tool).
- Familiarity with Fivetran for data integration.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and scripting.
- Understanding of GenAI features within Snowflake.
Qualifications:
- 15 years of full-time education.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse is required.
