Data Engineer

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines. This role requires strong SQL proficiency (including window functions and optimization), programming expertise in Python or Scala/Java, and familiarity with ETL tools like Airflow/dbt.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain robust batch and streaming data pipelines from ingestion to consumption.
• Develop clean, performant code that is easily readable by peers.
• Model data using dimensional approaches (star/snowflake schemas) appropriate for warehouse/lake environments.

Core Technical Skills:

• SQL: Deep proficiency required; basic queries are insufficient.
• Pipelines: Experience with Airflow, dbt, Dagster, or Luigi.
• Distributed Processing: Spark or Flink knowledge preferred (Hadoop acceptable for legacy).
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure services including Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks.

Engineering & Soft Skills:This position demands excellent communication skills to collaborate directly with US-based clients. You must be able to explain technical concepts clearly and manage client expectations professionally.
