Data Engineer Role in Ahmedabad

Proclink is seeking a Data Engineer in Ahmedabad to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines in the cloud. Responsibilities include creating systems for collecting, transforming, integrating, and delivering customer data, utilizing technologies like Apache Spark and cloud-native services. You will integrate data from diverse sources into centralized data warehouses, explore and evaluate new technologies, and actively participate in agile/Scrum ceremonies. Proficiency in source control and CI/CD pipelines is essential.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Expertise in Python, Apache Spark, and at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Familiarity with data warehousing platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse.
• Knowledge of data formats including JSON, Avro, and Parquet.
• Proficient SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
• Ability to rapidly adopt and implement new tools and technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud certification from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Snowflake, PySpark, Apache Airflow, Terraform, and Looker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and collaboration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
