As a Data Centre Operations Technician at Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) in Hyderabad/Telangana, you will help expand AWS Cloud offerings by maintaining the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure.

The Opportunity

Work in advanced data centers where you serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Developers) and external partners. You will tackle challenges ranging from Linux server issues to physical layer outages, ensuring high availability at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Problem Solving: Prioritize trouble tickets, act as a technical troubleshooter for Systems/Network hardware, and deep-dive into XEN service virtualization troubleshooting.
• Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot issues across platforms (Systems, Networking, Power/Mechanical), remediate physical outages, and manage power issues on racks.
• Operations: Meet 24x7 On-Call requirements, install/configure racks per SLAs, triage tickets, replace parts/spares, enforce security best practices, and interact with third-party vendors.
• Project Management & Mentoring: Deliver high-impact projects, analyze metrics for uptime improvements, mentor less technical staff on break-fix best practices, and contribute to the hiring process.
