Data Center Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Center Technician to support day-to-day operations for a leading multinational banking and financial services company based in Wilmington, DE. This hands-on role focuses on the installation, cabling, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise hardware within our data centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Rack and stack enterprise class technology including network devices, storage arrays, and servers.
• Run, trace, dress, and test copper and fiber cables from patch panels to end devices.
• Perform hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting for connectivity issues.
• Execute the commissioning and decommissioning of new or retired hardware assets.
• Replace components such as DIMMs, hard drives, and power supplies.
• Strictly adhere to Change Control Processes and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Certifications: A+, Server+, or Network+ preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Patch Panels is essential.
• Demonstrable experience in a Data Center environment.
