Data Center Technician 3

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Relations: Create and maintain effective customer relationships. Answer phone calls and emails within a timely manner with professionalism to ensure high satisfaction scores.
• Installations & Capacity Management: Ensure installs, capacity checks, testing, and close-out of Customer orders are completed on time while adhering to installation intervals.
• Ticket Resolution: Resolve all Tickets/Cases timely in a professional manner. Monitor technical issues, alarms, and escalate appropriately when necessary using ERP systems.
• Safety & Compliance: Perform physical security walkthroughs, manage sign-in procedures for customers/visitors/third parties, escort personnel to designated locations, and enforce established company security standards (PR/CSP).
• Maintenance & Reporting: Supervise vendor maintenance activities. Accurately capture time invested on tasks including customer installs, outages, remote hands, etc., ensuring timesheets are submitted timely.
• Billing Support: Record and furnish Customer Metered Power monthly to meet invoicing requirements.
• Miscellaneous Duties: Participate in the Market's on-call rotation. Monitor power systems (UPS/PDU). Maintain facility cleanliness for "Tour Readiness." Manage inventory of tools, test equipment, and devices. Support customer/auditor tours as needed.
