Full Job Description
Role Overview
Neev Global seeks a skilled Data Center Technical Support Analyst (Junior Engineer) based in Mumbai's Sakshi Vihar. This full-time role offers a dynamic environment with 24x7 rotational shifts (12-hour cycles). You will be pivotal in maintaining the operations of large enterprise data centers.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Data Center Operations: Lead hardware installation, relocation, and decommissioning for servers, storage systems, network equipment, racks, and cabinets. Execute precise rack-and-stack activities while managing power-on procedures, reboots, and basic troubleshooting.
: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Cat6A UTP, Multi-Mode Fiber, and Single-Mode Fiber cabling—including installation, termination, testing, labeling, and documentation. Manage patch panels and port assignments effectively. - Asset & Inventory: Maintain accurate DCIM records, track hardware assets, update rack elevations/connectivity diagrams, and manage spare inventory.
- Incident Management: Respond to incidents with first-level assessments, coordinate vendor support, participate in problem bridges, and ensure seamless escalation handling.
Tech Stack & Standards
You will apply expertise in TIA-942 standards, BICSI best practices, IP networking fundamentals, data center power/cooling awareness, and proficiency with DCIM tools, ticketing systems, and Microsoft Office. Experience with firewalls, switches, rack stacking, and structured cabling is essential.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in IT/Electronics/Networking (or equivalent).
- Experience: 4–7 years specifically in data center operations.
Certifications Preferred: SYSTIMAX, RCDD, and ITIL Foundation are highly valued assets for this role.
