Data Center Senior Analyst

Goodyear is seeking a Data Center Senior Analyst in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This technical role focuses on supporting the GIS infrastructure and its associated systems. The successful candidate will provide first-level support for North American data centers, manage metric gathering and analysis, and assist with operations across all North American plants, logistic centers, warehouses, and the Akron Campus.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the support of NA data centers and their infrastructure, including managing vendor relationships and contributing to the design of data center spaces for new builds and refits, ensuring adherence to CTI document standards. This involves coordinating new installations, ensuring adequate power, space, and cabling, and maintaining power balance. The role also entails metric gathering, creation, and modification for performance across various disciplines, including environmental and infrastructure reports for NA data centers and L1 operations. Creating and maintaining reports on infrastructure and vendor performance using tools like Excel and Access is crucial. Developing and maintaining Visio drawings for NA data centers, reviewing them for accuracy, and representing new installs/removals are also key duties. The analyst will follow and update procedures for various applications and systems, extensively collaborate with external vendors to gather quotes, process invoices, place orders, and create/maintain purchase orders. Ensuring quarterly audits are met with the data center provider, submitting and processing access tickets, and maintaining user access lists are also part of the role. The position is responsible for PowerIQ and environmental monitoring in all NA data centers, acting as a power expert for load balancing and PDUs. Additionally, the analyst will contribute to the development of a new in-house Data Center Infrastructure Management system and track associated purchase orders.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or a related IT discipline. Candidates should possess 4-6 years of experience in data center-related work, including upkeep, installations, rack and stack, and decommissioning of devices/servers. Proven experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), data center design, and data center concepts (power usage, consumption, cold aisle containment, cooling units, power load balancing) is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills in English are also required.
