Data Center Engineer

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and manage servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure customers have continual access to innovation.

You'll join a diverse team collaborating across AWS to deliver high standards for safety, security, capacity, and cost-efficiency in an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of all Data Center changes/events/incidents/problems including post-mortems and root cause analysis.
• Maintenance/repairs of site-critical facility infrastructure planned for business benefit.
• Asset and Inventory management, developing standard operating procedures, emergency response plans, and technical documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with best-in-class practices, financial controls, regulatory requirements, health & safety, environmental standards, and energy management.
• Delivering engineering reports adhering to SLAs/KPIs; communicating objectives to Amazon personnel and vendor teams.
• Hands-on support for equipment installation/decommissioning and auditing technical compliance.
