Job Title: Data Analyst for Data Mapping in Opentext InfoArchive (AWS Environment)
Location: Hybrid (2 days office presence) in Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, or Noida
Position Overview:
As a Data Analyst for Data Mapping, you will bridge operational data sources with Air Canada’s Opentext InfoArchive platform hosted on AWS. Your role involves analyzing, mapping, and validating data flows to ensure seamless integration and accurate migration from diverse systems into InfoArchive. You will collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and data engineers to support data governance, regulatory compliance, and long-term data retention strategies.

Position Overview:

Your role involves analyzing, mapping, and validating data flows to ensure seamless integration and accurate migration from diverse systems into InfoArchive. You will collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and data engineers to support data governance, regulatory compliance, and long-term data retention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze source system data structures, formats, and semantics, and develop detailed mapping documentation for alignment with Opentext InfoArchive requirements.
- Evaluate data quality, completeness, and identify gaps, inconsistencies, or anomalies before migration.
- Define archiving needs, regulatory requirements, and retention policies with business and technical teams.
- Design, build, and test ETL processes using Python, Bash, and SQL/NoSQL databases to extract, transform, and load data into InfoArchive.
- Create test cases and perform validation activities to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity in InfoArchive.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of mapping logic, transformation rules, and data lineage for audits and compliance.
- Troubleshoot mapping/integration issues and recommend process improvements, tooling enhancements, and mapping standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in data analysis, data mapping, or data integration projects.
- Proven proficiency in SQL and data profiling tools.
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of data archiving concepts and regulatory compliance practices.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Opentext InfoArchive or similar archiving platforms.
- Competency in designing metadata schemas and managing metadata, indexing, and related tasks.
- Familiarity with cloud storage architectures (AWS) and tiered storage solutions.
- Scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and data migration workflows.
- Understanding of data formats (TXT, XML, JSON, PDF/A, DOCX, OAIS, METS, PREMIS).
