Full Job Description
Amazon Worldwide Operations is seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Business Analyst to join our India Operations team in Bengaluru/Bangalore. This role is crucial in transforming data into actionable insights to address strategic business questions and optimize operational processes. You will be responsible for data mining, reporting, and building a robust metrics framework to measure business operations and identify patterns and disruptions. With a deep expertise in analytics, data modeling, ETL design, and business intelligence tools, particularly within AWS technologies like Redshift, you will drive critical metrics, generate insights, and identify root causes for improvements. You will also track, measure, and report on initiatives aimed at reducing defects and enhancing the selling partner experience. Collaboration with cross-functional business teams and designing reporting solutions to empower stakeholders are key responsibilities. This high-impact role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive critical metrics to monitor and optimize business performance.
- Generate actionable insights through the analysis of key metrics across various functions.
- Identify root causes through deep data analysis to design actionable solutions.
- Track, measure, and report on initiatives to improve defects and enhance selling partner experience.
- Define and track key metrics for defect reduction and improved selling partner experience.
- Devise mechanisms for control, performance monitoring, and reporting to internal stakeholders.
- Assist in investigating and drafting cost/benefit analyses and business requirements for potential solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with business teams to ensure timely program development and implementation.
- Design and implement reporting solutions to enable stakeholders in managing the business and making informed decisions.
- Develop basic scripts for data processing to support business analysis, benchmarking, and optimization efforts.
About the Team:
The Analytics team provides essential support to 3P carrier operations, focusing on shipment reconciliation, managing review decks, formulating new metrics, and providing daily performance visibility through automated reports and dashboards. We build optimization tools, enhance existing solutions, and work towards achieving supply chain tool parity with other geographies. This is achieved through collaboration with BIEs, BAs, Product Managers, and liaising with local and global technology teams.
