Data Analyst - Pune, India

Johnson Controls is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our analytics team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This role is crucial for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support strategic decision-making and drive continuous business improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and process data from diverse sources to support comprehensive business analysis and reporting.
• Apply statistical techniques to analyze data, identifying key trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain insightful dashboards and reports to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Assist in the design and implementation of data collection systems and strategies to enhance statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to uncover opportunities for process optimization and business enhancement.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field.
• 1 to 3 years of demonstrated experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, or R.
• Familiarity with data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effectively presenting findings to various stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Experience thriving in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Exposure to machine learning techniques is advantageous.
