Data Analyst

Johnson Controls is actively seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our analytics team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support critical decision-making processes and drive significant business improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and process data from diverse sources to support comprehensive business analysis and reporting.
• Apply statistical techniques to analyze data, identifying key trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain insightful dashboards and reports to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Assist in the development and implementation of data collection systems and strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field.
• 1-3 years of proven experience in data analysis or a comparable role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, or R.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effectively presenting findings to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques is considered a valuable asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments.
