Data Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Pune team. This role requires strong domain knowledge in areas such as facilities engineering, subsea engineering, operations, or logistics. You will serve as a vital link between asset teams and our technology group, leveraging advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Python and SQL to deliver actionable, data-driven insights. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing standards and influence business decisions through presentations to peers and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Utilize deep statistical skills and data manipulation techniques to clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured data, providing actionable insights to solve business challenges.
• Technical Development: Develop data visualizations using tools like Microsoft Power BI or Spotfire to analyze large datasets. Maintain data pipelines and apply analytics and data pipelining tools throughout the data lifecycle.
• Business Engagement: Proactively identify impactful opportunities for data analysis and independently manage projects. Use business acumen to influence decision-making and present findings to various stakeholders.
• Domain Expertise: Apply in-depth understanding of relevant domains (e.g., facilities engineering, logistics) to bridge business needs and technical solutions.
• Self-Management: Exhibit a well-organized, self-motivated approach to manage multiple priorities effectively, balancing proactive and reactive tasks. Apply sound judgment and common sense in all actions.
