Data Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with expertise in areas such as facilities engineering, subsea engineering, operations, or logistics. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between asset teams and our technology group. You will leverage your advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Python and SQL to deliver actionable, data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will include proactively identifying opportunities to enhance existing standards and influencing business decisions through presentations to peers and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Utilize deep statistical skills and data manipulation techniques to clean, preprocess, and analyze both structured and unstructured data. Generate actionable, data-driven insights to address practical business challenges.
• Technical Development: Create data visualizations using tools like Microsoft Power BI or Spotfire for analyzing large datasets. Develop and maintain moderately complex data pipelines, applying analytics and data pipelining tool knowledge throughout the data lifecycle.
• Business Engagement: Proactively identify high-impact opportunities for data analysis and manage projects independently. Apply business acumen to influence decision-making and present findings to diverse audiences, from peers to senior leadership.
• Domain Expertise: Integrate in-depth knowledge of relevant domains (e.g., facilities engineering, logistics) with data analytics expertise to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Self-Management: Maintain a well-organized, self-motivated approach, effectively balancing proactive and reactive tasks to meet multiple deadlines. Exercise sound judgment and common sense in all actions.
