Role Overview

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking an entry-level Data Analyst - Procurement to support strategic goals by transforming raw data into actionable insights. This role involves managing complex datasets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging advanced analytical techniques including statistical modeling and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, organize, and maintain integrity of complex internal and external datasets through rigorous validation and quality control.
• Design advanced data models to support automated reporting and seamless processing using tools like SAP tables, QuickViewer query builder, Power Query/Power Pivot, Microsoft VBA, SQL, and Excel.
• Conduct deep-dive explorations to identify trends in procurement, contracting, inventory, and accounting processes.
• Develop dynamic dashboards (e.g., Power BI) tailored for diverse audiences, from technical stakeholders to senior leadership.
• Pioneer initiatives to automate workflows, enhance data collection/storage, and drive scalable growth within the organization.
• Mentor team members on best practices while acting as a liaison between business units and technical teams.
