Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with 4-8 years of experience to join our team. This role requires immediate availability or a notice period of up to 15 days. The position is based in PAN India and operates on a 2-11 PM shift. Key skills include advanced MS Excel, Data Validation, Data Analytics, Alteryx, SQL, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract and analyze master and transactional data from SAP HANA backend systems using SQL queries.
• Retrieve and validate planning and forecast data from Anaplan models and modules.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and comparison between SAP HANA and Anaplan datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct drill-down analysis in Anaplan to understand calculation logic, model behavior, and data flow.
• Analyze Anaplan formulas and data models to trace and resolve data discrepancies.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively for data analysis, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), and comparison techniques.
• Design, build, and maintain automated data validation workflows in Alteryx for efficient processing of high-volume transactional datasets.
• Clean, transform, and compare large datasets using Alteryx tools and best practices for workflow optimization.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data mismatches, inconsistencies, and integrity issues across systems.
• Document validation results, findings, and root-cause analyses clearly and accurately.
• Collaborate with technical, functional, and business teams to resolve data issues and support decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with overseas stakeholders and clients, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in data validation and reconciliation across enterprise systems.
• Hands-on expertise in Alteryx, including workflow development for large-scale data processing and automation.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Solid understanding of Anaplan models, modules, and formulas, including hands-on analysis and troubleshooting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, data comparisons, and analytical techniques.
• Experience handling large transactional and high-volume datasets.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
