Job Summary:

Join the CSC Funds & Capital Markets (FCM)s Insights team as a Data Analyst in Mumbai, India. This role is pivotal in leveraging data to drive insights, support strategic decision-making, and enhance operational efficiencies within the Capital Markets business unit. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Operations, Commercial, and Finance, to develop and maintain robust data analytics solutions. We are seeking an ideal candidate with strong analytical skills and practical experience with BI tools and data integration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze complex datasets to generate actionable insights and support business decisions across the Capital Markets business unit.
• Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to effectively visualize key business metrics.
• Data Integration: Facilitate accurate and efficient data flows into analytics platforms by working with Salesforce and other data sources.
• Data Quality & Governance: Ensure data integrity through regular data validation, reconciliation, and cleaning processes.
• Business Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders from Product Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Leadership teams to understand their data needs and provide comprehensive analytical support.
• Automation & Optimization: Develop and implement automated solutions to streamline reporting processes and enhance data accessibility.
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses on financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a data analytics role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in DOMO or other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
  • Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building and maintaining data-facing web interfaces and interactive reports.
• Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Communication: Excellent ability to present complex data findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying data issues and proposing effective solutions.
