Position: Senior Executive (L1 - On Role)

Reporting To: Lead - Loss Forecasting, ECL & Collections Analytics

Function: Analytics

Location: Mumbai, India (Head Office)

Job Purpose: Godrej Capital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ECL Analyst with approximately 2 years of experience in IFRS 9 ECL provisioning. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis, statistical modeling, and financial risk reporting. Proficiency in R, SQL, and Excel is essential for interpreting model outputs, identifying trends, and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for problem-solving, a commitment to continuous learning, and adherence to rigorous risk and control frameworks within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the ECL Framework according to INDAS, including PD, LGD, and EAD models.
• Execute and monitor ECL Models on a monthly basis.
• Calculate key ECL metrics and performance indicators to track model behavior and portfolio risk trends.
• Perform Actual vs. Expected tracking with in-depth portfolio analysis.
• Develop and execute Loss Forecasting Models.
• Prepare Model Documentation and provide Audit support for ECL Models.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with a focus on Financial Services Analytics.
• Graduate or Post-graduate degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and hands-on experience with R.
• Knowledge and practical exposure to the ECL framework and its operations.
• Strong business acumen with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent strategic and tactical communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks independently.
