Experian India is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Consultant to join its Data Intelligence Team. As a Credit Data Insights Specialist in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in delivering Market Insights-based products and customized reports. Your responsibilities will include analyzing credit data to identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies, developing comprehensive reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency. This role requires a strong analytical aptitude, a thorough understanding of credit data, and proven experience in data visualization and communication.
The Data Intelligence team supports Experian India's operations by processing offline deliveries for the Credit Services business, which accounts for approximately 50% of the BU's revenue, and by handling data for a variety of generic and bespoke analytics requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and Data Owner for Credit Market Insights products and their delivery, managing customized reports.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of credit data to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Create compelling reports and visualizations to present findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Liaise with other teams to guarantee data accuracy and integrity.
- Proactively monitor and enhance data quality and data management procedures.
- Identify and propose data-driven solutions to address business challenges.
- Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in credit data analysis and visualization.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data models and dashboards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in credit data analysis or a comparable domain.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency with data visualization and communication tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Advanced expertise in SQL and Excel.
- Prior experience with statistical analysis and modeling is considered an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
