Full Job Description
As a Data Analyst in Mumbai, India, you will be responsible for designing, monitoring, and maintaining robust batch data processing pipelines. Your role will involve analyzing and validating large datasets from diverse sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery to stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues within batch jobs and data workflows, documenting data flow processes, logic, and business rules, and supporting the automation and optimization of batch processes through scripting and tools. You will also conduct root cause analysis for data discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in data analysis and batch processing.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools.
