Data Analyst

Position Overview

An established organization seeks a Data Analyst (Contract) for a fully remote position based in Lansing, MI. This role operates Monday–Friday on a part-time schedule of 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain performance reports, dashboards, and data tools using advanced Microsoft Excel (VBA) and SQL.
• Analyze product, platform, and service performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor vendor performance, SLAs, and operational KPIs while maintaining data integrity.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders within editorial operations.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates possess 3–5 years of experience in data analysis with strong problem-solving skills. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Power BI, Python/R/SPSS/SAS/Stata, and familiarity with scholarly or research publishing platforms.
