Job Summary
As a Data Analyst at Agrocorp International, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable business intelligence. Your responsibilities will span the entire data lifecycle, from collection and cleaning to analysis and insightful reporting. You will collaborate closely with various departments to identify critical trends, develop comprehensive reports, and build dynamic dashboards that drive both strategic planning and operational improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Gather, cleanse, and validate data from diverse sources to ensure high levels of accuracy and consistency.
- Perform in-depth analysis of complex datasets to uncover patterns, identify emerging trends, and understand underlying relationships.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports utilizing industry-standard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel functionalities.
- Effectively communicate data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations.
- Partner with business and technical teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish robust reporting frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to automate data collection and reporting processes for increased efficiency.
- Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of data governance policies, documentation standards, and best practices in data management.
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis to provide critical support for strategic initiatives and prompt decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a dedicated data analysis or business intelligence role.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and extraction.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including mastery of pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to manage and analyze large, complex datasets.
