Job Responsibilities

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins and Common Table Expressions (CTEs), for efficient data extraction and transformation.
• Demonstrated capability to lead client engagements and effectively present intricate findings.
• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional team efforts.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ensure the correct implementation and functionality of business logic and data quality checks within Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues through detailed root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective measures.
• Guarantee timely data delivery by monitoring system performance and proactively addressing issues within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to support operational and analytical data requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure continuity and clarity across the team.
• Work closely with Azure DevOps for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and understand release processes (Dev to Ops Handover), including experience with release management.
• Understand data integrations with third-party platforms such as Veeva CRM and Salesforce.
• Provide support during specified shift hours to align with business needs in Eastern Standard Time (EST) zones.
• Communicate effectively within the team and across departments to ensure alignment on objectives and tasks.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a closely related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, or ETL processes.
• Must possess an Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification.
• Databricks certifications are highly advantageous.
• Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and teamwork.
