Data Analyst

Overview

The Data Analyst role at Pipeline Medical involves the comprehensive management and analysis of large datasets. Leveraging tools such as SQL, Excel, and Zoho Analytics, you will be instrumental in creating insightful reports and dashboards for diverse stakeholders. This position requires the development of predictive models and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize operational processes and enhance overall organizational performance. Strong communication skills are paramount to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. We offer a preference to candidates with demonstrated experience in Python and AI tools, and familiarity with the medical distribution industry is considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Data Management & Analysis: Gather, organize, and analyze extensive datasets using SQL, advanced Excel functions, and Zoho Analytics. Employ various SQL dialects to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Reporting & Visualization: Construct and maintain dynamic dashboards and comprehensive reports within Zoho Analytics. Present findings in clear, concise formats tailored for non-technical audiences, ensuring that data-driven insights are readily understood and actionable.
• Predictive Modeling & Forecasting: Develop sophisticated predictive models to forecast industry trends, identify potential risks, and uncover emerging opportunities. Utilize statistical methods and data mining techniques to derive meaningful business insights.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to pinpoint operational inefficiencies and strategize for process improvements. Implement analytics solutions to streamline workflows and elevate overall departmental and organizational performance.
• Communication & Collaboration: Serve as a primary liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating complex data concepts. Engage with multiple departments, manage competing data requests, and deliver analytics solutions punctually.
• Emerging Technologies & Tools (Preferred): Leverage Python and AI tools, including machine learning libraries, to automate and refine data analysis tasks. Maintain an awareness of industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance analytics processes.
• Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Possess familiarity with the medical distribution industry or demonstrate a strong willingness and ability to acquire this knowledge rapidly. Adapt analysis and recommendations to address industry-specific challenges and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a data analysis or similar role, with a demonstrable track record in managing and interpreting complex datasets.
• High proficiency in SQL (across various dialects), advanced Excel functions (including pivot tables), and business intelligence tools like Zoho Analytics.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
• A proactive willingness to learn new technologies and understand complex data within a unique industry context.
• A solid grasp of statistical analysis, trend analysis, and data modeling techniques.
