About the Role
I-PAC is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst with a minimum of 2 years of experience and robust expertise in Statistics, SQL, and Python. This pivotal role involves more than just number crunching; you will be instrumental in shaping high-impact political campaigns and strategic decisions by analyzing large datasets, validating insights with advanced statistical methods, and building intuitive dashboards. Your contributions will empower teams to make swift, accurate, and data-driven decisions, directly influencing campaign strategies, optimizing performance, and driving measurable outcomes in the political landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop optimized SQL queries for efficient data extraction, processing, and analysis.
- Execute statistical analyses to validate hypotheses, uncover patterns, and inform business decisions.
- Perform data mining and preprocessing, ensuring data is cleaned, transformed, and structured accurately for reliable analysis.
- Apply a range of statistical techniques, including descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression analysis, probability distributions, and sampling methods.
- Utilize Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy for cleaning, preparing, and analyzing large datasets.
- Create interactive dashboards and automated reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to derive statistically sound insights.
- Clearly present analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain data accuracy and provide detailed documentation for all analytical processes.
Required Skills
- A strong foundational understanding of Statistics is essential.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformations.
- Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and dataset validation.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex statistical findings in an accessible manner.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with statistical modeling or basic machine learning algorithms.
- Proven experience working with large, complex datasets.
Education
A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
