Tableau Developer Role
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in creating Tableau dashboards, reports, and data models. The ideal candidate possesses strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other BI tools, with the ability to deliver insightful and interactive business reports aligned with stakeholder requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations according to business needs.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and transform them into effective visual solutions.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards for enhanced performance and user experience.
- Create data extracts, calculations, and parameters to enable dynamic reporting.
- Integrate Tableau with diverse data sources, including SQL, Excel, and cloud databases.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all dashboard and report data.
- Participate in data validation and testing procedures.
- Document technical processes, data models, and dashboard functionalities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality dashboards.
Mandatory Skills
- 2-4 years of direct experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience working with large datasets and intricate data models.
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other BI tools, such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines using technologies like Databricks, Fabric, or Snowflake.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP and their respective data ecosystems.
