Data Analyst

MarketStar is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India. This role is crucial in transforming data into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions across Product, Marketing, Revenue, and Customer Experience teams. You will focus on understanding user behavior, measuring performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Tableau, Salesforce, and Power BI.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Revenue teams.
• Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Maintain recurring reports in SFDC, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Ensure accuracy and quality in all data work.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, business, marketing, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience in a data or technology-focused role, preferably in database or reporting.
• Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, including report creation and management.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Expertise in Google Sheets for creating reporting visuals, queries, and tables.
• Experience building dashboards, tables, and graphs in reporting tools.
• Ability to interpret and communicate data and analytics effectively.
• Strong time management, organization, and customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, especially technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a computer.
