Technical Understanding

A strong understanding of healthcare data is highly desirable, as it forms the core of our products. The following technical proficiencies are essential:

• Expertise in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel.
• Proficient experience with the data lifecycle within at least two of the following healthcare domains: clinical, operations, financial, fraud, digital, sales and marketing, wellness, or other relevant healthcare datasets.
• Proven experience in generating Datamarts specifically for healthcare applications.
• Practical experience with health outcome indices, metrics, and measures.
• Solid knowledge of databases and structures, governance, and metadata standards, including data architecture principles, ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with patient health management, provider profiling, healthcare reporting, and other key healthcare technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of clinical tools such as coders, groupers, and classifications is advantageous.
• Understanding of data science principles applied within the healthcare sector is beneficial.
• Experience with healthcare benefit pricing, product pricing, and actuarial calculations (e.g., reserving, risk rating) is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Databricks, Synapse, and Data Factory is preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Statistics, a healthcare-related field, or a similar discipline is required.
• A master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in healthcare analytics.
