Data Analyst - Global Pricing Operations (Hyderabad)
CDK Global is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Hyderabad, supporting global pricing operations. This pivotal role involves managing extensive datasets, developing insightful dashboards, and delivering actionable intelligence to refine and execute pricing strategies.
You will collaborate extensively with Go-To-Market (GTM) teams across US and India time zones, ensuring the integrity of pricing data, facilitating price updates on our partner platform, guaranteeing accurate client billing, and driving automation within our reporting frameworks. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a proactive approach to thriving in a dynamic, cross-functional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Analysis
- Retrieve, cleanse, and manage large datasets from diverse sources utilizing SQL and advanced Excel techniques.
- Perform comprehensive pricing analytics to determine optimal price points for complex data products.
- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficacy of pricing and monetization strategies.
- Construct and maintain pricing reports and Power BI dashboards, providing essential insights into pricing performance for leadership.
- Automate reporting processes and create compelling data visualizations to support informed decision-making.
Pricing Operations Support
- Monitor the execution of price changes, identify discrepancies, and propose solutions.
- Implement ongoing price updates within systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
- Manage customer-specific custom pricing agreements, exclusions, and protections within Salesforce.
- Uphold compliance with CDK's discounting guidelines and report on actual rates versus annual pricing targets.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to formulate pricing proposals and communicate changes effectively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to ensure the smooth execution of pricing and monetization initiatives.
- Adapt work schedules as needed to align with U.S. time zones for critical meetings and ensure seamless collaboration.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for operational queries pertaining to pricing data, reporting, and dashboards.
Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to timely delivery.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI (essential), and Excel.
- Proven ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into practical, actionable recommendations.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills for effective internal collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills and experience working effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in data analysis, pricing operations, or similar roles within SaaS, technology, or automotive sectors.
- Hands-on experience with data gathering, cleansing, and management.
- Comfortable working remotely with international teams and adapting to global time zone differences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with database systems (e.g., SQL Server) and reporting tools like Power BI or Cognos.
- Familiarity with APIs and data product concepts in a SaaS ecosystem.
- Previous experience in pricing execution, reporting, and dashboard design.
- A proactive approach to learning new systems and understanding the capabilities of Agentic AI/ML.
