Full Job Description
As a Data Analyst at Payoneer in Gurugram, India, you will be integral to our mission of enabling businesses to thrive globally. You will take ownership of ad-hoc analytical requests, ensuring swift, dependable, and thoroughly documented results. Your role involves translating business and product inquiries into precise analytical objectives, queries, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic dashboards, visualizations, and alerts to foster self-service decision-making across the organization. A key aspect of this role is optimizing SQL queries and data processing within BigQuery for enhanced performance and cost-efficiency. You will also design and manage robust, scalable data layers and models in BigQuery to support AI initiatives, self-service business intelligence, and critical product/operational monitoring. Leading comprehensive analytical workflows from scoping and extraction to analysis, validation, and presentation will be crucial. Additionally, you will proactively monitor key processes and metrics, identifying and surfacing anomalies and opportunities. Collaboration with Product, Data Engineering, and business teams is essential for tracking, establishing data contracts, and ensuring data quality, thereby maintaining consistent and well-documented data.
We are seeking candidates with a proven track record, ideally with 2-4 years of experience as a Product, Data, or Business Analyst, with a background in fintech being a significant advantage, complemented by a relevant bachelor's degree. Essential skills include strong SQL proficiency coupled with hands-on BigQuery experience, including the ability to optimize complex queries and data processing. You should possess experience in designing analytics data models/layers and working with large, event-level datasets. Proficiency in BI and visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau, and experience building stakeholder-facing dashboards are required. A demonstrated ability to define and track KPIs, translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches, and communicate insights effectively is vital. An interest in or experience with building data foundations for AI-driven and self-service analytics is highly desirable, and Python skills are considered a plus.
