About the Analytics Team:

Join the Analytics team within Gartner's Service Strategy & Operations group. This team is instrumental in generating actionable insights by analyzing vast datasets. We support Service Delivery associates and their leadership by identifying new opportunities, strategies, and innovative approaches to client engagement, ultimately driving higher client retention.

Your Responsibilities:

• Identify, monitor, measure, and report on key metrics that directly influence client retention and its underlying drivers. Collaborate with the automation team to enhance reporting efficiency.
• Employ analytical methods to uncover client retention opportunities and formulate recommended actions for service teams.
• Influence senior internal business unit stakeholders to prioritize critical issues and collaboratively implement strategic initiatives.
• Proactively resolve bugs and data quality issues by partnering with stakeholders and technical teams to rectify data discrepancies or integrate data into our analytics systems.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities as needed.
• Take ownership of process and system improvements across various stages of the data pipeline.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in business analytics.
• Proficiency in advanced data manipulation and summarization using Excel and Python.
• Solid SQL knowledge for data extraction from data warehouses.
• Experience with Power BI for advanced data analysis is a significant plus.
• Strong PowerPoint skills, including the ability to synthesize key messages and utilize appropriate charts (e.g., think-cell).
• Demonstrated expertise in descriptive analytics and statistical analysis is highly desirable.
