Full Job Description
As a Data Analyst at Orange Business Services in Gurgaon/Gurugram, you will be instrumental in transforming business challenges into actionable data-driven insights. Your role will involve end-to-end data analysis, from identifying and preparing data to implementing advanced statistical methods and tools for synthesis and value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate complex business problems into quantifiable computer and statistical challenges.
- Manage the entire data lifecycle, including identification, evaluation, recovery, and preparation, while ensuring data quality and model relevance.
- Conduct comprehensive end-to-end analyses, effectively communicate findings, and develop strategic recommendations for optimization and value creation.
- Implement and utilize computer tools, techniques, and statistical methods to efficiently organize, synthesize, and translate data, uncovering customer knowledge for business advantage.
- Develop clear, concise, and impactful reports for various stakeholders.
- Propose and industrialize the development of recurrent analytical deliverables to ensure efficiency and repeatability.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand their data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements in data collection and analysis to enhance overall performance.
- Integrate generated value into existing processes and contribute to the evolution of information systems.
- Optimize data utilization in strict adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage evolutions in data deposits and data enrichment strategies to unlock new value creation opportunities.
- Facilitate communication between operational managers and tool managers for seamless tool implementation.
- Oversee the generalization and industrialization of tooling projects, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and R.
- Experience with data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Elastic ELK.
- Strong critical analysis skills to interpret complex data and derive relevant conclusions.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities, with the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Solid understanding and application of ITIL processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective interaction with users and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing projects related to operational tooling.
- A user-oriented approach, incorporating feedback to enhance tools.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Experience within the telecommunications and IT sector is considered a significant advantage.
