Data Analyst

Arise Investments and Capital Limited is seeking a full-time, on-site Data Analyst in Chennai, India. This role is crucial for supporting data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. Key responsibilities include performing data modeling, preparing statistical reports, identifying trends and insights, and presenting findings to stakeholders. The Data Analyst will collaborate with various teams to implement data-driven strategies. Essential qualifications include strong analytical and data analytics experience, proficiency in statistics and data modeling, and excellent communication skills for presenting insights. Familiarity with tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or R is preferred. A detail-oriented mindset and problem-solving abilities are necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in financial analytics or the NBFC/MFI sector, specifically with 1-3 years of experience, is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for numbers, data cleansing, and generating actionable insights, with an eagerness to present findings from any given data.
