Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Chennai. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing critical insights through trend and variance analyses across our product suite and various functions including acquisitions, cross-sell, customer service, and collections. You will support stakeholders by performing essential data pulls and manipulations to generate operational insights. A key part of your role will involve identifying reporting and MIS gaps, addressing recurring stakeholder requests, and collaborating with the Tableau team for dashboard development. You will also be responsible for translating product-specific and function-specific requirements to other areas as needed. Furthermore, you will act as a crucial liaison between business teams and our Data & Analytics modeling teams, contributing timely inputs and insights to enhance the accuracy and utilization of our Machine Learning models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide insights, perform trend and variance analyses across the product suite and across functions (acquisitions, cross-sell, customer service and collections).
• Assist stakeholders in performing data pulls and basic data manipulations to derive operational insights.
• Identify key reporting or MIS gaps and recurring requests from stakeholders, and work with the Tableau team to develop dashboards.
• Export product-specific and function-specific requests to other products and functions, as required.
• Act as the bridge between the business teams and the D&A modelling teams, providing timely inputs and insights to improve the sharpness and usage of ML models.

Job Requirements:

• A Master of Technology (MTech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), or Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• Preferably 3-4 years of experience in performing descriptive and diagnostic analyses.
• Excellent analytical, logical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Python is required.
