Data Analyst

Axion Ray is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and curious Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role is crucial for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to generate actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. In addition to core analytics tasks, you will play a key part in text and document annotation initiatives, contributing high-quality labeled data essential for our NLP and LLM-based AI solutions. We are looking for an individual with strong analytical acumen, comfort with complex data models, and the ability to translate data into compelling narratives.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing large, complex datasets to uncover trends and actionable insights using Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, and Python.
• Collaborating with Senior Analysts and Lead Analysts to interpret client data and propose data-driven strategies.
• Cleaning, validating, and pre-processing client datasets for analysis and modeling.
• Translating analyses into compelling business narratives and strategic recommendations.
• Building lightweight scripts and workflows to automate data handling and improve efficiency.
• Continuously improving internal workflows and enhancing analytical processes.
• Collaborating on tool configurations and enhancements to boost overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or a related field.
• 0.5 - 2 years of relevant experience in analytics, particularly within manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, medical-device companies, product companies, or startups.
• Fresh graduates with a strong passion for data, analytics, and numerical storytelling are highly encouraged to apply.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data/text annotation for AI/ML models, especially NLP/LLM, is a significant advantage.

Required Tech Stack/Tools:

• Must-haves: Excel (G-Sheet), Python (Pandas), Basic SQL.
• Good to have: GIT (basic knowledge of version control, branching, committing, and collaborating), Machine Learning, Large Language Models, and related fields.

Compensation Range: 5000-8000
