Data Analyst

Role Overview
Esko is seeking a Junior Data Analyst (Reports: Sr Director, Cloud Platform) for our Bengaluru office. This role is central to helping Product, Engineering, Design, and Commercial teams make confident, evidence-based decisions.

• Define meaningful metrics: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into measurable KPIs.
  
• Turn data into insight: Analyze product, engineering, delivery, and commercial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring attention using Python and SQL.
  
• Build product usage analytics: Transform telemetry data into Power BI dashboards that reveal adoption, engagement, feature usage, and customer behavior patterns.
  
• Communicate the story: Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, connecting data insights to actionable business decisions.
  
• Improve and automate analytics: Validate data quality and build reusable, scalable reporting solutions that reduce manual effort.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in CS/Statistics/Data Science. 2–4 years of experience (including internships/projects). Proficiency in Python for analysis, SQL for querying, and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Strong grasp of statistics, data modeling, ETL concepts, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Snowflake).

Preferred

• SaaS product telemetry experience.
• Familiarity with engineering metrics (DORA) and SDLC data analysis.
