Paymode Data Analyst - Bengaluru/Bangalore, India

Bottomline is seeking an experienced Paymode Data Analyst to join the Revenue Operations Team. This is a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment where you will innovate, win, and grow.

Leverage your business, analytical, and technical skills to build efficient, effective, and scalable processes, dashboards, insights, and analytics that drive the success of CRO growth objectives. You will partner closely with Paymode sales, finance, and leadership teams to deliver crucial analytics and manage the development of analytics toolkits for strategic programs and key growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage analytical tools, primarily in Power BI, for tracking operational management of payments and spend flows across over 600 payers and 20,000+ vendors.
• Design analytics playbooks, processes, and enablement materials to enhance the effectiveness of Account Management and Vendor Sales in executing operational activities that improve client health and drive growth.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Vendor Sales, and other internal groups to define requirements and workflows, resolving process, resource, and functional bottlenecks within Paymode.
• Utilize Power BI to create intuitive user interfaces for client-facing reports, internal reporting, and analytical storytelling.
• Build, manage, and optimize internal deliverables including training materials, standard operating procedures, and how-to documents.
• Own, maintain, support, and update critical Paymode dashboards and their associated documentation, working with users at all levels to update reports, fix technical issues, and write documentation.
• Establish, document, and track new Power BI toolkits to empower leadership in effectively managing their teams towards achieving initiative goals.
• Proactively identify client and portfolio-level analytics to enhance the efficiency, knowledge, and proactivity of Paymode sales teams in engaging with prospects and clients.
• Support leadership reporting on key Operational Analytics for Paymode performance and progress, including sales pipeline, operational connectivity effectiveness, and revenue velocity.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or other analytical software.
• Strong experience with Power BI is highly desirable, including the ability to integrate data from multiple sources using SQL or Power Query for analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changes in priority.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an analyst role.
• Highly analytical with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies through a logical and methodical problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous and evolving environments, translating high-level requests into actionable tasks.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment, willing to undertake diverse tasks and activities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments, communicate effectively across different company levels, and lead training sessions and presentations.
