The Analytics team at Navi is integral to driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. We collaborate closely with all business functions to generate critical insights, establish visibility into key metrics, and validate hypotheses that shape our strategic direction and execution. Our expertise covers five core areas: Business and Product Analytics, Credit & Credit Risk Analytics, Collections & Biz-fin Analytics, Self-Serve, and Automation.

About the Data Analyst Role

As a Data Analyst within the Navi central analytics team, you will serve as a crucial link between business teams and data. Your primary responsibilities will include enhancing visibility into business KPIs, developing essential reports, and creating dashboards for key business metrics. You will also leverage automation to drive operational efficiency and contribute to data modeling efforts, building a robust data infrastructure for streamlined access across teams. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to work alongside highly motivated colleagues, developing data-based solutions with direct business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Develop and implement data quality standards and procedures.
• Analysis and Reporting: Utilize SQL, Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and other analytical tools to analyze financial and operational data. Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and insights. Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable data-driven solutions.
• Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Excel, or specialized BI platforms. Customize dashboards to meet specific departmental or stakeholder requirements and ensure continuous monitoring and updating to reflect the latest data.
• Process Optimization and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data collection and reporting processes. Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing workflows and propose enhancements. Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy in data management and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Technology.
• 1-3 years of proven experience as an Analyst.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including Excel, SQL, and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Basic understanding of data platforms and ETL processes.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• (Good to have) Prior data wrangling experience in R/Python.
