Data Analyst

Asian - African Chamber of Commerce & Industry is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with 23 years of experience to join our team in Ellisbridge, Ahmedabad. This is a full-time, permanent position with a working schedule of Monday to Saturday. The ideal candidate will interpret data, generate insights, and support business decision-making. We require a candidate with strong Excel skills and the ability to efficiently manage large datasets.

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns. You will prepare detailed reports and dashboards for management, work closely with various departments to understand data requirements, and create MIS reports, performance reports, and data summaries. This role involves monitoring business KPIs, generating actionable insights, performing data validation, ensuring data accuracy, and automating repetitive reports using Excel tools. You will also support business teams with data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze large sets of data to identify trends and patterns
• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for management
• Work closely with different departments to understand data requirements
• Create MIS reports, performance reports, and data summaries
• Monitor business KPIs and generate actionable insights
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy
• Automate repetitive reports using Excel tools where possible
• Support business teams with data-driven recommendations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 23 years of experience in Data Analytics or a related field
• Excellent command over Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Data Cleaning, Dashboards, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of data visualization and reporting
• Basic knowledge of SQL / Power BI / Google Sheets (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Commerce, IT, or a related field
• Experience in MIS reporting or business data analysis

Salary Range: ₹20,000 - ₹30,000 per month
