Full Job Description
Job Summary
This role is responsible for cross-functional collaboration to gather data and develop models that identify trends across various data sources. The position involves retrieving, analyzing, and summarizing business, operations, employee, customer, and economic data to generate business intelligence, optimize effectiveness, predict business outcomes, and support decision-making. The Data Analyst will contribute to key business decisions by conducting analyses that inform business strategy. This includes measuring the impact of new products/features using normalization techniques, optimizing business processes through A/B testing, clustering or segmenting customers for differentiated treatment, performing deep-dive analyses to understand key business trends, identifying customer sentiment drivers via Natural Language Processing (NLP) of Net Promoter System (NPS) survey feedback, and developing frameworks to drive upsell strategies for existing customers by balancing business priorities with customer activity. The role requires moderate guidance within the incumbent's area of expertise.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and define technical requirements.
- Assess data relevancy and identify alternative data sources to fulfill analytics requests from business stakeholders.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to derive actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
- Query diverse big data platforms, including Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS.
- Integrate data from disparate sources to complete comprehensive analyses.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to identify key business drivers and insights.
- Develop forecasting models to predict metrics such as sales and demand.
- Analyze campaign, offer, or initiative results to measure effectiveness and identify areas for enhancement.
- Communicate findings clearly and concisely to Company executives and decision-makers through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations.
- Promote and champion a culture of excellence, data-driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning, applying them to address business challenges.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Ensure regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with availability to work nights and weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree. Equivalent combinations of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience may be considered.
