Data & Reporting Analyst

About the Role

JPS Tech Solutions in Mount Laurel Township is seeking a Data & Reporting Analyst to support engineering operations through reporting, data analysis, automation, and vendor coordination. This key role develops dashboards and metrics, analyzes large datasets, maintains operational documentation, and provides accurate reports and insights to leadership and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel skills (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA) to develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards
• Demonstrate expertise in SQL database build and querying for complex data extraction
• Show proficiency with generative AI tools like Claude coding to enhance workflow efficiency
• Analyze, validate, reconcile, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights supporting engineering leadership decision-making
• Create and maintain engineering metrics, scorecards, trackers, and management reports ensuring high accuracy
• Support vendor management activities including resource tracking, onboarding/offboarding coordination, invoice validation, and vendor reporting
• Manage knowledge repositories, operational documentation, procedures, and governance artifacts
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, presentations, summaries, and operational reviews for leadership and stakeholders
• Maintain the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive business, financial, and personnel information
• Coordinate effectively with engineering teams, vendors, project managers, finance, HR, and leadership to support operational objectives
• Identify process improvement opportunities, automate manual activities, and enhance operational efficiency through analytical problem-solving
