Full Job Description

LanceSoft is seeking a Cybersecurity Incident Handler to conduct proactive threat hunting across endpoints, networks, cloud platforms, and identity systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing threat hunting hypotheses using threat intelligence, emerging attack techniques, and industry-specific threats.
  • Analyzing security telemetry from SIEM, EDR, NDR, cloud security, and identity platforms.
  • Mapping findings to the MITRE ATT&CK framework and identifying indicators of compromise (IOCs) and indicators of attack (IOAs).
  • Investigating suspicious behaviors and uncovering stealthy attacker activity.
  • Collaborating with SOC analysts and incident responders during investigations.
  • Producing threat hunting reports and executive summaries.
  • Researching adversary groups, malware families, and attack campaigns.
  • Evaluating detection coverage and identifying monitoring gaps.
  • Supporting purple-team activities and adversary emulation exercises.
