Cybersecurity Governance Analyst

Alstom is seeking a full-time Information Cybersecurity Governance Analyst in Bangalore, India, to join a collaborative and innovative team. This role is crucial for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with ISO 27001 standards.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various teams such as Information Security, SecOps, Solution Architecture, and Product & Solutions Cybersecurity. You will oversee internal audits, manage security controls, and ensure compliance with information security regulations. A key part of your role will involve conducting risk assessments, developing security policies, contributing to ISO 27001 certification projects, and enhancing the integration of security measures into organizational processes.

We are looking for an individual who can:

• Assess, evaluate, and recommend improvements for security controls.
• Ensure Digital Transformation activities align with defined requirements, policies, and regulations.
• Coordinate and track audits, including scope, timelines, and outcomes.
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the information security policies framework.
• Monitor and ensure the consistent application of governance policies and processes.
• Support security architects in implementing measures to reduce security debt.
• Collaborate on audit preparations and ISO 27001 certification activities.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 2 to 5 years of advanced IT experience, with a focus on information security governance, risk management, and ISO 27001 implementation.
• Knowledge of information security standards and regulations like ISO27001, ISO27005, and MITRE.
• Experience in developing security standards and guidelines based on best practices.
• Strong communication skills, capable of adapting technical information for diverse audiences.
• Excellent collaboration and partnership-building abilities in a diverse workplace.
• Proficiency in planning, coordinating, and managing projects with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with European regulations such as EU GDPR and NIS2 is a plus.
• Certifications in FAIR Risk Management, ISAE3000/SOC2, or IEC 62443 are desirable.
• Experience in the transportation or railway industries is a plus.
