About the Team

The cybersecurity team plays a crucial role in ensuring the security of our innovative medical devices and systems. Key responsibilities include:

• Cybersecurity design and requirements for new and existing products.
• Threat modeling and cybersecurity risk assessment of products.
• Managing regulatory submissions for cybersecurity.
• Vulnerability management, including Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation, vulnerability intake, disposition, and risk assessment.
• Ensuring quality management for cybersecurity.
• Conducting cybersecurity risk assessments for manufacturing and product development.
• Leading incident response efforts for both product and non-product related security events.

Main Responsibilities

• Assess, analyze, disposition, and manage product and non-product vulnerabilities to ensure acceptable risks to patient safety and privacy.
• Analyze the latest vulnerabilities across diverse platforms, including Android, iOS, cloud infrastructure, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
• Meet defined metrics for vulnerability disposition and analysis.
• Parse and present cybersecurity testing results to product teams.
• Design and document robust cybersecurity architectures.
• Contribute to documentation for product ramp-up, sustenance, maintenance, and releases.
• Lead technical teams and collaborate effectively in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at multiple organizational levels.
• Multitask, prioritize, and meet project timelines efficiently.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, follow-up, and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, systems, and clinical departments, to deliver business-critical functionality.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, and task assignments.
• Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 5 years with a Master's degree.
• Deep knowledge of software security principles (e.g., buffer overflows, Return-Oriented Programming (ROP), code reverse engineering).
• In-depth understanding of operating systems, primarily Linux and Android.
• Knowledge of cryptography.
• Ability to produce high-quality documentation that withstands independent review.
• Demonstrated ownership of organizational capabilities and maintenance of quality metrics.
• Experience working in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective communication across all organizational levels.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) security.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts.
