We are committed to diversity and equal opportunity.As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be instrumental in the timely delivery of Barracuda XDR services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include analyzing security alerts, troubleshooting and resolving security incidents, and managing customer relationships. You will collaborate with a skilled global SOC team to address security matters across the Barracuda XDR customer base. This role operates within a 24x7x365 environment, requiring flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily monitoring of networks for security events and incidents to detect active threats, intrusions, and compromises.
• Respond to security alarms, analyze incidents, and escalate as per established processes or management direction.
• Participate actively in incident management and response efforts.
• Manage vulnerability scanning processes.
• Oversee Endpoint Protection and Email Protection services.
• Provide Tier 1 support for SIEM engineering.
• Act as the first line of operational support for Barracuda XDR security services requests.
• Address general inquiries and provide recommendations related to security concerns.
• Stay informed about the evolving global threat landscape and its impact on customers, publishing threat advisories regularly.
• Engage in proactive security measures such as threat hunting, attack and defend exercises, and research into threats like malware and vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOC maturity through agile project participation.
• Manage customer relationships by understanding, identifying, and mitigating their security issues.

• Proficiency with ticketing systems.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
• Understanding of basic networking principles.
• Experience with incident response and analysis of attack vectors including Ransomware, Business Email Compromise, Phishing, Botnet, DDoS, SQL Injection, Supply Chain Attacks, and Mobile Threats.
• Familiarity with common SOC tools such as SIEM, SOAR, Log/Packet Analysis applications, EDR, Email Security, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Scanners, and Sandbox Environments.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
• Programming skills are preferred.
