Composite Structures Australia (CSA) is a services consulting company based in Australia. We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and monitor robust security measures to protect our software, systems, networks, and data. We are looking for someone with a keen ability to anticipate vulnerabilities by thinking like a hacker, while simultaneously upholding the professional rigor essential for compliance and effective incident response.

Key Responsibilities

• Threat Detection & Monitoring: Continuously monitor network traffic and system logs using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and XDR tools to identify and triage security anomalies.
• Incident Response: Lead the investigation of security breaches, perform root cause analysis, contain threats, and develop recovery strategies to minimize business impact.
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability scans, and basic penetration tests. Coordinate with DevOps teams to patch systems and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Security Architecture: Design and deploy essential security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust access controls, and encryption protocols.
• AI & Automation: Implement AI-based behavior analytics to detect emerging threats and automate repetitive security tasks using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
• Training: Act as a security advisor to other departments, conducting phishing simulations and providing security awareness training for staff.

Technical Skills

• Networking: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and secure network protocols.
• Cloud Security: Proficiency in securing AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Operating Systems: Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows (Command Line/PowerShell).
• Tools: Experience with tools such as Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Splunk, or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Coding: Ability to write scripts for automation; Python proficiency is highly preferred.

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot patterns in complex datasets.
• Crisis Management: Demonstrated calmness and decisive action under the pressure of a live security breach.
• Communication: Ability to translate technical risks into understandable 'business impact' for non-technical leadership.

Experience & Education

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM field.

Salary: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per month

Relocation: Ability to commute or relocate to Bengaluru, Karnataka is preferred.
