About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security professional specializing in Managed Security Services (MSS) with a focus on Endpoint Security. This role requires a deep understanding and hands-on technical expertise in managing and supporting endpoint security solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support and management for McAfee and Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) solutions, working directly with end-user endpoints.
• Administer McAfee solutions within Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
• Manage Symantec Endpoint Management (SEPM) for server-based environments.
• Create and manage security policies, schedule and execute on-demand scans.
• Perform implementation, migration, and upgrades of endpoint antivirus solutions across various platforms including VDI, servers, desktops, and thin clients, utilizing McAfee and Symantec technologies.
• Manage and support the enterprise endpoint security estate and products, providing basic to advanced-level support for antivirus and antimalware solutions.
• Administer enterprise security applications, including implementation, configuration, upgrading, and policy creation.
• Oversee the administration of McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) and Symantec Endpoint Management (SEPM) environments, configuring and resolving complex issues in geographically dispersed setups.
• Configure server tasks for McAfee ePO SQL database maintenance, System Tree structure management, Active Directory synchronization, and policy management.
• Monitor and report on security data from McAfee and Symantec solutions, respond to security threats, conduct risk assessments, and provide recommendations.
• Identify and implement process and technical improvements for the security environment, establishing and maintaining configurations and policies.
• Create ePO queries, manage SEPM policies, and generate reports to track deployment statistics.
• Leverage expertise with the McAfee ePO console.
• Work with various server and desktop operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, UNIX, and Mac OS.
• Lead the discovery and documentation of client requirements.
• Produce all project deliverables, including as-built documentation, incident response plans, and other security policy considerations.
• Manage general project tasks and communication requirements.
• Communicate highly technical information effectively to diverse audiences, from client engineers to executive management.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on endpoint security.
• Mandatory daily hands-on technical experience with McAfee and Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP).
• Proven experience in managing McAfee ePO and Symantec SEPM environments.
• Strong understanding of VDI, server, desktop, and thin client endpoint security.
• Proficiency in administering enterprise security applications.
• Experience with various server and desktop operating systems (Microsoft Windows, UNIX, Mac OS).
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
• General project management experience.
