HummingBrains Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Pune, Maharashtra is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer with specialized experience in Malware Analysis, Reverse Engineering, and Application Security. The ideal candidate will possess practical experience in analyzing malicious binaries, identifying security vulnerabilities, and utilizing reverse engineering tools like Ghidra to comprehend software behavior and potential threats within the cybersecurity landscape of Pune.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive malware analysis and reverse engineering on suspicious binaries and applications.
- Conduct thorough static and dynamic analysis to detect malicious behaviors and pinpoint vulnerabilities.
- Employ reverse engineering tools such as Ghidra to meticulously analyze application behavior.
- Identify critical security vulnerabilities and propose effective remediation strategies.
- Provide essential support for application security testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Develop scripts or tools using various programming languages to automate and streamline security analysis processes.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate and enforce secure coding practices and robust security controls.
- Generate detailed technical documentation and reports summarizing security findings and recommendations.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated strong experience in Malware Analysis and Reverse Engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience with Ghidra.
- Solid understanding of binary analysis, debugging, and disassembly techniques.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, including Python, C, C++, Java, or Go.
- In-depth understanding of Windows or Linux operating systems from a security perspective.
- Familiarity with both static and dynamic malware analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of fundamental application security principles and the OWASP Top 10.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in vulnerability research or exploit development.
- Knowledge of assembly language.
- Experience with industry-standard malware analysis frameworks or sandbox environments.
Additional Information
- Budget: Up to 17 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum).
- Notice Period: Candidates currently serving their notice period are preferred.
- Joining: Candidates available for an immediate join by the 1st week of April will be prioritized.
